Michael received his B.S. degree in Business Economics with a concentration in Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University in 1986. He has been in the insurance and investment industry since August, 1989. He joined MONY in March of 1995 and became an Equitable Advisor when Equitable acquired the MONY Group. He has completed the Advest Institute at Harvard University in 2004 and recently completed the course work for a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning.*
Michael's focus is on pre-retirement and retirement planning.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Heuga Center in Edwards, CO and for St. Joseph High School in Trumbull. He also volunteers his time as "Big Brother" for Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Bridgeport.
He has two children, M. Zachery and Emily K. Thomas. Michael lives in Trumbull, CT and his hobbies include skiing, golf, baseball and coaching kids sports.
